Hallo-Lantern Hayrides !

The next fall event will get under way this weekend starting this Friday. Several hundred expertly carved pumpkins will be on display during an approximately 20-minute nighttime hayride. This is NOT a haunted hayride and is fun for the whole family. The hayrides start at dark on the following dates: Oct 17, 18, 19; 23, 24, 25, 26; 29, & 30. Call for ticket info. The farmstand will be open at night during the hayride hours as well. Hope to see you there !!

Updated October Info

As of Saturday October 11 APPLE pick your own is CLOSED. Due to the overwhelming crowd we had today our pick your own orchards got cleaned out. We still have the Harvest Hoedown Oct 12 and 13 which includes pick your own pumpkins, hayrides, live music, pony rides, etc. We have a nice selection of our own already picked apples available in the farmstand as well as our own fresh pressed apple cider. If you missed apple picking remember, we begin picking around Labor Day weekend (1st or 2nd weekend of September) so next year be sure to come earlier !! ~CNS

October 2008 Update

Looks like a nice weekend this Oct 4 and 5 weatherwise for some apple picking! We are getting into our October varieties such as Empire, Delicious, and Cortland. We still have some earlier varieties like McIntosh and Macoun in limited quantities as well. See the Pick Your Own page at cnsmithfarminc.com for more details. And be sure to come by the farm Oct 11, 12 and 13 for our Columbus Day weekend "Hoedown" - 3 days of live music, pony rides, hay rides, pumpkin and apple picking (apple picking is NOT guaranteed to be available all 3 days this year), fresh cider and produce in the farm stand.
